drop spindles and disk thickness..?
When looking at drop spindles for the 67 I see a lot of them requiring converting to 71-72 disc brakes or equivalent... I have disks that are 1.5" thick already... what is the 71-72 thickness? I see them for 1.25" and know those wont work for what I already have, but they never say how thick the 71-72 is...

Re: drop spindles and disk thickness..?
One inch is the light duty rotor and the regular rotor is 1.25". Nobody is responding because they don't know anything about a 1.5" rotor which is non-standard.
What disc brakes are on your truck? Most aftermarket conversions still use OEM rotors. Or some of the BIG brake aftermarket kits are larger diameter but narrower rotors. If your setup is a later model 73-87, they will be 1.25" unless it's the light duty setup.
