Rust problem Help

I just noticed that a little rust is forming on and under my new hood. Is there a way to prevent this?

Re: Rust problem Help

i wish this was the only amount of rust i would have to deal with, if it hasn't gone trough sand the affected area prime it and paint it while blending in the surrounding.

Re: Rust problem Help

The fool that painted my truck had no leftover paint, and he died a few weeks after he finished so I can't complain much. I noticed that the hood fits so tight that this is going to be a problem for ever, I was hoping that someone had a fix (beside drilling holes all along the area where the hood fits closed) that would prevent it..
