Wiper motor kit
Can anyone tell me if a 54-55 wiper 12v kit will fit a 49? If not what's the difference? Thanks

No....the mounting is not the same. You can make it work but fab work will need to be done

I did the same (trying to mount a 54 motor) but it never worked oke for me, so bought a new wiperkit for '49.
If you need measurements of the bracket let me know |

Where the transmissions fit onto the motor (where the spring clips fit) could you measure the distance between the 2, many thanks
