how long is a short bed?
just wondering how long in INCHES the short bed is for the 67-72 trucks.

Get a short bed .. I believe you have to cut both front and rear section's to make it fit.

sell the longhorn truck. buy a shortbed. that is the easiest way.

If you weren't in the Great White Wasteland(Canada j/k ), I would trade you my SWB for a LWB. I would give my left..... uhh never mind I am sure some one has a good SWB truck bed for you

6.5 feet...about 78 inches.
Frenchblue72 is right...cut from the front and the back on a long bed. Y'all are joking about chopping a longhorn bed....right? |

It breaks my heart to even see people just chop the frame and put a swb bed on their trucks. Its such a shame to chop up a perfect truck

I've got a spec here that the inside length is 78-1/4".
