Customizing double wall top

Has anyone cut into a double wall top to be able to bolt the same as a single wall?

I don't think it is a good modification. You would have to open up a series of holes on the inside wall of the top below the side windows and leave them open to be able to insert the bolts and to get a wrench on them to tighten them up. It could be done, but would probably weaken the top and cause cracking. It would look pretty rough too.
