Not a 67-72 guy but looking for some input
I was wanting advice as to how much a 67-72 (not exactly sure of year yet) 1/2t step side rolling chassis would be worth. The chassis is low miles and appears to be solid. Just looking for a ballpark as to its value. I'm usually a 73-87 guy, lol. Thanks in advance

Re: Not a 67-72 guy but looking for some input
Not much help on its value but I can help you narrow down it age. &1& 72's are gonna be 5 lug with disc brakes [unless it has been changed]67 didn't have a knot where the steering gear goes to mount a power steering box up cause the steering for them was ram assisted. So that would leave the 68-70 with the knot for the power steering box and the 6 lug drum brakes all around. Either could have coil or leaf as the Chevy's came standard with coil springs and optional leaf rear and the GMC's were the other way around.hope that helps some. Jim

Re: Not a 67-72 guy but looking for some input
HUGE variation here. Leaf spring or coil? Longbed or shortbed? Leaf spring or coil? Disc brake or drum? 6 cylinder? Small or Big block? Going to need WAY more info.
Is the bed still on it since you say stepside? Chassis should be the same if the bed is gone. Shortbed, coilspring, disc brake is going to bring the most. Even more so if it has big block mounts in it.

Thanks guys. I know its a shorty but that's about all I know as of right now. I need to get a closer peek but I hear it will be for sale before long and they will be taking bids.
