Question on Air Bed and truck tent for C-10
Hello,
Haven't been here in a long time. Life got in the way- (divorce and such). But refreshing to be back reading the posts. I am considering buying a truck tent and an airbedz style mattress. Does anyone know what truck model I should order for. To get the proper size. 1967-1972 are not one of the choices. The wheel well needs to line up for the mattress. I have a 72 short bed. They offer the following: PPI-103 AirBedz Original 04-12 CHEVY Colorado 6ft Bed PPI-PV202C AirBedz Original 2015 CHEVY Colorado 6ft Bed PPI-103 AirBedz Original 82-04 CHEVY S10 6ft Bed PPI-102 AirBedz Original 73-15 CHEVY Silverado 5ft-8in Bed Must use with tailgate down. PPI-102 AirBedz Original 73-15 CHEVY Silverado 6.5ft Bed PPI-102 AirBedz Original 73-15 CHEVY Silverado 8ft Bed (6.5ft mattress) Any advice on truck tents would be great too. |

Re: Question on Air Bed and truck tent for C-10
I have the exact same tent as the one you posted. Same truck too. It worked very well even my wife who is not the camping type liked it! I just used a 29 dollar air bed and it fit pretty darn good. I would suggest that you buy the tent and try an off the shelf air bed first. The tent goes up and down pretty quick. and easy.

Do you know if the tent will work in conjunction with a tonneau cover
I haven't bought a tonneau yet. But would be nice to be able to Cover everything with a tonneau. Then roll up. For tent usage. |

I used a BAK flip with the tent you posted and it worked great on my 14 GMC, used as a shelf to hold stuff like glasses and a light and something you could sit on to change clothes!
