Classic truck road rally.

Was wondering if any members had any interest in doing a road rally. I enjoy event planning an wanted to throw the subject out there for some feedback.
I haven't worked on the details yet. As I know it may be difficult due to the broad range of members residences.
Could include various activities and destinations (auto related or other) based on a consensus of the participating members. This would be strictly non profit or charity.

Post up or pm me any positive or negative feedback on the Idea.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Classic truck road rally.

I reside on the east coast. Was thinkin of either headin north, south or even west. Would love to go to a place like Daytona where you are allowed to drive your vehicle on the beach.
Any other destination ideas? Whether it be auto related. Carlisle Lmc brothers etc. Indy etc. Or vaca related. Deep sea fishing. Amusement park, etc.
Of course schedule in various stops throughout. If anyone knows of a member going through a family or personal crisis. It would b nice to do for a worthy cause. - please don't post any info regarding that particular subject. Pm only. .

Kinda like a power tour but only trucks would be cool.

Cool Re: Classic truck road rally.

It would be nice if we could do something like the power tour with some sponsors. We are having a track day in Anderson SC in May for our local truck club. Going to have a auto cross setup for any of the members to try out.
I would love to have a weekend tour just around the NC, Tn, SC Ga Mts.

Re: Classic truck road rally.

Not familiar with the power tour. I'll look into it. Personally I'd love to do a road race from coast to coast and put up a half decent prize l
either a restored truck or $10k to the winner. With challenges along the way. Like the old cannonball.
However we aren't allowed to drive fast anymore!!
Prob get sued for promoting something fun like that.
