Need 6.2 diesel valve cover gasket recommendations.

I need to replace my valve cover gaskets on my 6.2. I don't like to use cork unless absolutely necessary. So far that is all I can find or a rubber/cork type. Does anyone make a rubber gasket for this engine? I always use Felpro but they only offer a cork type. Someone told me to not use gaskets and to use this stuff. http://www.permatex.com/products-2/p...t-maker-detail

Re: Need 6.2 diesel valve cover gasket recommendations.

On the 6.2 and 6.5's I have never used a gasket, when I was building them for the military we used the RTV black silicone. Good bead and set the cover on and tighten the cover. Allow to dry and done.
