new Duramax owner

Just got this and thought I'd share on here.
I'm pretty excited. This thing is nice!

3500 DENALI
4x4
dually

Has most every option you can get on one....

I guess only mods will be a cover for bed and maybe a tuner...

Re: new Duramax owner

Do not use a Tuner, It will leave traces in the ECM & GM will void your drivetrain warranty.

When I worked at a Dealer we had to snap-shot all the CVN numbers (Calibration Verification Numbers) & send them to GM before they gave the go ahead on any drivetrain repairs.

Manufacturers today have zero tolerance for this on Diesel trucks.

Nice Truck!!!!

Re: new Duramax owner

Thanks for that info!

Anyone know what bed cover is best value?
I want the hard cover, the kind that rolls up and gives full access.

Re: new Duramax owner

Congrats! I have a 2013 2500HD and have been wanting to upgrade to a new dually since the new body style came out.

I had a Pace Edwards Full-Metal JackRabbit on my old half-ton and really liked it. Combined with a locking tailgate it makes a pretty secure LARGE trunk. It's not the cheapest thing on the market though.

BTW, you won't feel like you don't have enough power with that Duramax. Mine is still stock and I enjoy leaving cars at the red light thinking, "Holy Crap that truck is fast!"
