Re: me and texjack

I call it a tailgate drop or flop bumper since the only place to step is on the side (and hitch area). maybe a side step or corner step bumper? I dunno, but they were a good idea for certain uses, but hard on tailgates. I love this truck!

Re: me and texjack

yep the bumper does hit the tailgate a little .. the hitch hits first, I always put a thick towel on the hitch when I put tailgate all the way down , thanks every one for the flowers on ole dollor , texjack pickup was setting beside mine, that was the last day he owned it, went south the next day..... Re: me and texjack

Reminds me a little of the custom made step bumper on the 63 GMC I bought last year. I think it was a State Highway truck (yellow paint) and the welder was not pushing the clock. They even recessed the license plate to protect it and put a light in there too.
Maybe one day he can be as good looking as Old Dollar? Long bed step sides are cool in my book.

yes it's the 292 that's in the truck , but I am not sure how much longer it will be in there, now that I have it running great.....I am thinking about putting a 350 in it . maybe in the next few weeks.

Yeah, I may steal it off this truck and put it on the 1ton dually step side I am building. I think it adds a bit of personality like yours does. I dig yours. a lot.
