After a cluster bezel and glove box door for a 72 GMC in sandalwood. Hoping for nice examples in OEM paint. Borrowed example pic below. Thanks! Pete

Pete, he parks the subject truck at Hardees every morning. I don't know if I could get these pulled before he finished his coffee. LOL

I think I have the glove box door...not sure if it is original paint, but ill check tomorrow. I may also have a GMC emblem to go with it.

Pete I know where an original cluster is..... But it is a three holes version. Are you interested in it? It is the correct sandal wood and I am confident it will not be used as I sold him a tach cluster.

Thanks so much but I need a bezel for factory gauges. I really appreciate the reply though!

Re: WTB: Cluster bezel and glovebox door in sandalwood for GMC

Well I struck out. I have one that is a repaint that is close to the correct color with a GMC custom emblem but it is a repaint. The other one I was thinking about is gold. Here are a couple of pictures let me know if they would help and what they are worth to you.

Hey Pete... If you have a bezel I can restore it for you... I have several Glove Box doors that I can restore to your specifications... The only thing I cannot do is Chrome... Let me know...

Re: WTB: Cluster bezel and glovebox door in sandalwood for GMC

Boynton - Thanks for digging those out! The GB door w the emblem looks close if not same but has emblem/holes so will have to pass. The other looks a slightly different color. Appreciate the time.

Elliot949 - I may take you up on that particularly for the cluster bezel. I'll keep looking for a little while yet for an OEM paint GB door at least as looking for some patina. Thanks!

Pete, if I can find it, I have an NOS sandlewood GMC horn cap.

You may be able to search the site for pics.

Thanks John I will search! If the horn cap matches the dark saddle wheel in my K5 I'd be interested. For my GMC project I'm looking at a black wheel to match the black tilt column with sandalwood cluster bezel and GB door.

Wasn't able to locate my bezel Sunday but I have a couple more places to look. If you don't find one soon I'll raid my other stash.

Here's mine, 72 pulled from my Custom Camper parts truck. Not sure if you need the whole thing or just the Bezel but everything worked before I parked it. Shows normal wear on the Bezel with no breaks or cracks. Didn't find the glove box door though.

Thanks again! I'm really after just the bezel for use on a cluster I already have. Would you sell just the bezel and if so how much shipped to 59901?

Re: WTB: Cluster bezel and glovebox door in sandalwood for GMC

Hi Pete,

What if we could do you a repainted original bezel in argent sliver and sandalwood? 69-72 would be correct for your bezel, correct? Is there a paint code for the sandalwood?

If you re looking for chrome and sandalwood, I could redo a aftermarket bezel and paint the black sandalwood.

Let me know if you are interested in this. It is not cheap but you will be very happy with the result.

Take care,
Tom
