need help with 15x12 wheels
I bought a set of billet specialties RT 15x12 with 7.5bs. I went to test fit and the rear drum hits the inside before I can even get it all the way on. Ideas plz????

What's your backspacing?. From what I've read. 12" is the widest we can go without rubbing. What year is the truck?

Backspace is 7.5" my truck is a 68 with 71 suspension and rear end for the 5lug. The guy I bought the wheels from had them on a 67-72 so idk wth.

Did this once with steel wheels , turned down the outside diameter of the drum to fit , no issues.

How far off is the wheel from seating fully around the wheel studs? Some pics might help.

Roger that. I'll post some pics. They are about 1 1/2 from seating. I think I'm goin to take the drums to machine shop.
