changing vent window seals on my 79 ordered parts from lmc. all was well till i put the window back in the frame. glass too short, seems the original seal was different at the top. measured the glass at the back edge 16". checked on an old door i have and the glass is 17" lmc doesnt show differnt seals for a 79. looks like im going to bone yard soon

gm used a 2 part seal up to 1980, and a 1 piece after. the later won't work. look on ebay. I found a set for my 79 there for $57 bucks and worked good, till lower pivot broke. I'm replacing the entire window with a 1982 window from boneyard.
