Question on the 99-01 burbs

I am told that the 99-01 burbs had 5.7's with aluminum heads. Is this true? I could have sworn they all had 5.3's.

Re: Question on the 99-01 burbs

No. The 99 suburban would still be gmt400. It would have a vortec 5.7 with iron heads. 00-06 would have a 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0 availible in the later years. The 5.3 was the most common. Almost all of the ls engines have aluminum heads. There are some early ones that had iron heads.
