Re: bed wood sizes
This is what I'm thinking but I know some beds have different sizes of boards so just trying to decide all roughly the same size or different widths.
Pictures of a stock bed or what you have done would be great

Re: bed wood sizes
GMCPauls has the diagrams... Or you can make your own spacing to reduce number, etc. and redrill the cross sills.

Re: bed wood sizes
Here is a pfd from Mar-k on grooving the boards to fit the strips if you do your own boards.
Lots of runs through the table saw with the blade set just so. http://www.mar-k.com/catalog/pdf/ins...ood_boards.pdf Here is the GM Paul's link http://www.gmcpauls.com/47-72_BedWood_Info.htm Both worth saving if you are doing your own wood.

Re: bed wood sizes
finding that many nice knot free wide boards may be difficult
i used the same length bedwood, since trex only comes in 5.1'' width i added one bed strip for a total of 9 ''boards'' and 8 strips since i painted my strips i also cut them a little deeper than factory normally the strip are above the wood 2 passes on the table saw for each side
