Dually wheel question
My question is I recently acquired a 1976 C30 which had 235/85r16 tires on it but were worn pretty badly. I found some used Toyo 235/85r16 which I had put on the truck. My question is that the tires are only about 1/4" apart at the bottom of the duals when empty will this be a problem? This truck will be used very little but will be used some because it has a nice dump bed on it. Mostly short distances for farm use. Thanks for any help with this.

My dually CUCV has 235/85R16s but has spacers between the rear wheels to prevent tire rubbing with a load. My K30 dump has 215/85R16s without spacers. Taller tire, duals do not rub under load.

Rubber rubbing to together equals heat and heat should be avoided at all cost. I have 235's on my dually and they work fine as long as the air pressure is within spec.
