Do not use "transport kings"
I wanted to WARN everyone about "Transport Kings". I placed a deposit on Feb 27,2015 for a blazer i purchased in Indiana to be transported to California. I did the "economy Shipping". 3 weeks had past i had not heard from the company so I called them. "Dustin", the manager advised me that he did not have any trucks available. He said if i wanted to "UPGRADE" to the standard shipping,he would guarantee me that the blazer would be picked up in 7 days. Well that didn't happen either. Once again, i had to call and inquire. On the early morning of April 1st, I called and told them I was canceling my order. I was told that they would "see what they can do". The next day I checked my checking account online and see that those SOB's charged me another $204. I called and they said, they charged me another $204 because they reposted my listing on the "shipping board". I am still trying to get a hold of the "corporate office" but nobody answers, imagine that. I will keep the forum posted once i get to the bottom of this.

Re: Do not use "transport kings"
Always good to use a credit card for transactions of this type. That way you can contest the charge with the credit card and make the service provider "prove" that they completed the agreed upon service and deserve payment.

Re: Do not use "transport kings"
I have had many vehicles shipped to Michigan from all over the U. S. from many shippers. Not once ever I paid upfront to any shipper. You cant always go for the cheap shipping price. They all gave me a quote and I paid cash when they arrived here every time.

I gave them a $200 deposit and remaining balance was suppose to be COD.

http://www.transportreviews.com/
I checked this site and finally decided on Auto Transport 123 to ship mine from Pittsburgh to Ft. Worth. Don't take that as an endorsement of AT123. They didn't suck, but they weren't easy to deal with either.
