Question tow hook question

I have started to run thru the wrecking yards again once a week! I was wondering what to look for? Is there a # on the hook? I have seen the pics and saw a pair. I am going to look again tomorrow. So I was wondering what to look for, are there different ones for diff years? Any help would be great, Thanks Landon

There are different styles for different years. I think there is a 67/68 style which is more curved in shape (along the length of the whole hook) . Then there is a 69-72, which is what most look like. Then there are the 69-72 with curves in them, which can be further broken down. One set both curves in the same direction (can't remember right or left) and another set curves in different directions (either curve out or in, again can't remember).

landon, I ran down to the garage to see If mine had a number on them I could get you, guess what, I don't even have any, WTF now I need info, was this an option, where did they bolt to, I see theres only about 3" between the front leaf spring bracket and the bumper, and no holes in the frame to bolt them too, this has got me curious, I mean seriously no tow hooks on a 4x4 is like having no balls, got to get me some balls I mean tow hooks

Tow hook pic. I believe that the ones on the left are up through 70 and the ones on the right are 71-72.
