Yet another SWB step side bed for sale!

I have a truck purchased and am to pick it up this coming Tuesday - it has a short wheel base step-side bed on it and I won't be needing it. So, it will be for sale when it gets back to my house. It will not come with a tailgate however. I have one or two pictures that I can add here and can get more and a more complete description after I see it in person.

Pricing will be between $340 and $375 depending on my final inspection - again more will follow when I see it in person.

Thanks! Of course I'm not crazy about shipping something this large. Come pick it up at my house in Columbia, MO. Jay

Re: Yet another step side bed!

Haven't gotten more photos yet - probably tomorrow - but can describe a little better now after picking it up today.
*Bed sides - driver's side has a couple of rust thru areas, passenger side is pretty solid. *Cross pieces that hold wood are in very good shape and all present, not rusted up junk.
*Fenders are pretty good pieces - one has a skim of bondo all over, but not sure why as part of it has been ground back off to see what damage might lurk underneath and the fender is solid - not bent up or rusted through! Other fender has one small place that has a repair, but otherwise is a very good piece.
**Along with purchase of bed I will include two long bed sides in super shape that can be cut down to make the short bed sides to replace the rusted one and the other one if you are so inclined.

Pricing for everything mentioned above is $340.00. Thanks, and I will get some more photos as soon as I can.

Re: Yet another step side bed!

How much are you looking to get from the bed side cross pieces?
I would need them shipped to 49685.
Tanks so much,
Jake

Jake - I'm sorry but I am not sure what you are asking about. Are you talking about the re-inforcement ribs (might be 5 or 6 used on short bed) that go under the wood floor that it attaches to or the whole front bed panel? Jay

I looked at the LMC catalog and it appears that they are all the same length except one - 4 @ 49 7/8" and 1 @ 49 1/2". They call them cross sills.
I would have to see how many I have and how many you need, but I would sell any extra ones at $14 each plus shipping if needed.
Thanks for your inquiry - I will look to see how many I have and the condition before you get back with me about number needed. Jay

Jake - I looked at the cross sills I have and I probably have three spares. They are in good solid shape. Let me know if you want them. Jay

Is this a spare tire bed? How does drivers side look and how much would you like for it? thanks.

The short wheel base step side bed does not have a 'notch' in the fender to hold the spare tire and wheel.

Second question asks "how does drivers side look . . .?" Driver's side fender or driver's side bed panel??

As for price, it is listed toward the end of the #2 post with an explanation of what you get for that money.

Now, if you are interested in individual pieces please specify which one and I will price it - but rather sell it all together if possible. Thanks for your interest, Jay
