New from Delaware: 1971 C20

Hey guys Ive been member for a while, finally made a purchase last week. A friend of mine had a coworker selling his 1971 C20 before he left for California. Long story short, i ended up picking this up for $500. All it needs is the reflectors replaced and the accelerator pump diaphragm on the carb replaced.

Nice truck you got for that price. The previous owner will miss that truck once he gets here to CA. I sold my '67 GMC 3/4 before I moved to MD from AZ....worst decision I ever made. Still wish I had that truck and that was darned near 20 years ago.

Re: New from Delaware: 1971 C20

Thank you alsriv2 I'm excited to start upgrading the truck to make it perform a little better. I will have to say i am by no means a purist, but i do not intend to hack this truck up. A small drop, some 17's, rear end upgrades and braking system upgrades. I want to upgrade using as many Gm parts as possible so maintenance is a little easier. I do have plans for a turbo LQ4 swap and possible ZF6 just for a fun driver/towing rig for my 70 Chevelle.
