BBC heads: what covers fit under the booster with roller rockers?
I just bought some beautiful Wysco BBC flamed aluminum covers and now to my dismay they won't fit under my booster. I would love to run aluminum covers but what will fit with roller rockers?

Or, you could skip the booster and run a Hydroboost setup.

How much taller are the "tall" valve covers? In looking at my truck which has a 454, there is a lot of clearance between the power brake booster and the stock valve cover. Only problem I see is the air conditioner bracket which as less than 1/2" clearance, as its mounted above the valve cover. I guess no tall valve covers for me....

I ordered the black aluminum GM valve covers that come on the crate motors pictured at the top of this post. The problem is not the clearance when there on, it's getting them on and off. The tall aluminum Wysco set I have are at least 4". I will let you know how it goes after I get these other covers. I'm gonna try to run a 5/16" gasket to make them fit.

That's a nice looking booster. Is it a direct bolt on to factory mount?
