Saddle Blanket Seat Cover

Dad always had a saddle blanket seat cover in his pickups, I'm wanting to carry in the tradition. Are there any good quality ones available? The last two I've had didn't last and were cheap in quality and price. Willing to spend enough money to get a better one if there is one.

Re: Saddle Blanket Seat Cover

This looks like a company that makes good quality seat covers.

Found lots of hits on Google.

I kind of like your idea for my old 82 C10.

Here is mine that I bought from LMC. Looks to me to be the same as the other and it is very heavy material, and fit is real good. I put it on to protect my seat while the truck was at the body shop. I like it and probably will leave it on for awhile.

Is the LMC a two piece, does it cover the entire back of the seat?

K9--The cover is a one piece, and goes over the top of the seat and down the back approx. 6 inches. There are several rope type straps across the back that holds the cover in place. The cover also has slots for the seat belts and all the way across the front of seat there are pockets for storage, i.e.; maps, phones, etc.
If you would like I can take some better pictures to show you what I am saying.

Thanks for the info BLP86 one more question, I heard that when folding the seat the straps can possibly break, do you have that issue?

I have never had any of the straps break, and the way it is designed I just can't see how they would. And when getting in and out of the truck the cover does not move around and get out of place.

I had to go out and check on the cover, forgot if it had a flap or not. There is NO flap between the seat and backrest but the straps on the back of the backrest also hook to the rear of the seat cover underneath where the seat and backrest meet. I hope this makes sense.

Re: Saddle Blanket Seat Cover

Thanks! That does make sense, and I think will make a huge difference. The last couple covers I've had didn't have anything to keep the cover in the crack and they shifted and bunched up all over the place.
