Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
I'll take if they aren't correct for leaf spring truck but are correct for coil spring fleet side swb 2wd truck.

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
those are not for a 4x4, the inner brackets for a 4x4 have a thick support piece welded in the middle. these will still work, just not 100% correct for a 4x4.

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
Thanks Jerry - not sure if SWB 4wd differed from LWB 4wd brackets though, am digging through old threads.

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
Mike I'll take these as they appear to fit LWB leaf trucks both 2wd and 4wd.
As an aside, here's an example pic of a set removed from a LWB K1500 (ie, leaf) truck

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
And here's an example of the correct style brackets for a SWB 4wd (see post here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=451188), which have the added plates Jerry mentions:

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
I just learned something new. I didn't know the 4X4's were reinforced.

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
Looks like only the SWB 4wds though (at least from the info I could find). These 4wd (SWB) brackets also fit SWB coil trucks...

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
I think it is just the short 4x4 or blazers that have the reinforced bracket. (because of the location of the rear spring hanger.)

Re: Complete set of nos rear sport bumper brackets 67-72
Since I've hijacked the thread completely, here's a pre-plating pic of the OEM 4wd LWB bumper w brackets that I used on my K20. No reinforcements.
