Question Aluminum Radiators?

I am looking for a new 4 core aluminum radiator for my 70. (V8/AT)

Can any of you tell me where you found yours and the price? Also what brand are you running?

Thanks in advance!

I have a business card at home I got from a vendor at the Goodguys Nationals when they were here a couple of months ago. I took a look at their 4 and 5 core radiators and was pretty impressed in their quality and construction.

I'll get the info posted when I get home.

70cst4x4, I bought my rad thur Howe, They make huge two core, each core is over 1.5 inch wide and never gets above 180. Also the cost 200.00. Not bad for a alum rad. Bought universal fit. Also, I think summit carrys them.

I don't have an alum rad in my truck, but I got one from Ron Davis Radiators in Phoenix for my Studebaker. Was about 200.00. It's been in for 5 years, cools great and never been a problem. I just told them the dimensions.

Thanks Dan, cross your fingers for me....my engine is going under diagnostics this week for my "little squeak". BTW...(not to get off topic) how did the spaker thing work out? Have you had a chance to "play"?

Thanks 70CST...

Griffin makes a very good radiator as well. Thats what's on my Chevelle...I did not want to skimp on this piece when installing my motor.....can you imagine how embarassing it would be to have it over heat.....only to see the nice shiny 502 sitting there with a nasty radiator...almost as embarassing as being caught driving .this car.

I put a specific post up about the BeCool module but....I have to say again....it is really a good piece of work...I run a 160 therm and I can sit in traffic all day and I have no problems...it looks nice....I am happy with it.

I have a Griffin Aluminum 2-core radiator cooling my 440 horse small block. Works great, I just need to get an electric fan, she's never overheated, but does tend to start creeping up up when sitting in rushhour traffic in the summer heat. Paid $189 for it through Jeg's I think, or Summit, I don't remember.

I have the Griffin Rad but am dissapointed in the fact that the tubes are epoxied to the verticle tanks on the ends. I would have prefered all welded seams. Ed ke6bnl
