u bolts!!!!!!!!

Hey----
I was looking for stock U bolts today
I'm doing my 65 c10.
Speedway has them for $16 a set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a deal!
They also want $15 to ship them to me.
(they would fit in a USPS $5 flat rate box)
Way to go Speedway!

Re: u bolts!!!!!!!!

You mean the axle U bolts? You can get them at any truck driveline shop, cheap. Check your local places.

Re: u bolts!!!!!!!!

I second the local shop, look for axle and spring service in your area.

speedway shipping is an enigma, sometimes higher than it could be, I think $15 is their minimum charge. if I can offer a counterpoint, speedway shipping is amazingly fast, sometimes other companies (rhyme with megs and hummit) can sit on your order for 3 days before shipping. If I order from speedway before 2:30, I have it THE NEXT DAY. I am not far, kansas from nebraska, but still.

Are you talking about the U bolts for the coil spring/trailing arm style...I have 2 stock ones you can have...I lowered my rear with blocks and longer U bolts and still have the old ones here...Joe

Re: u bolts!!!!!!!!

Axle U bolts are a pretty important fastener and I've been reading a bit lately about Speedways suspect quality.

Opposite for me. My rhymes with hummit, I ordered my wheels on Friday and they were here on Monday. Usually if I order in the middle of the week early enough I get them next day. I guess it depends on where you live.
