Cab Hood Side Bolts
I have a passenger side cab hood side bolt that is 3/8-24 and a driver side hood side bolt that is 7/16-24.
Sup with that? Anyone else find this? I purchased a fastener set but it doesn't have these in it.

Re: Cab Hood Side Bolts
Mine is the same way. I've been wondering about that as well. One of mine is stripped so it don't tighten down. Luckily the other bolts re good so it stays tight.

Re: Cab Hood Side Bolts
The one with the arrow holds the fender on and the one behind it holds that removable panel on. Have you tried using a clean up tap on the hole to be sure of its size?

Re: Cab Hood Side Bolts
No but it's pretty obvious what it is as far as size and threads. I can try in the morning.

Re: Cab Hood Side Bolts
Threads might have been poor and someone re-tapped to next size up.

Re: Cab Hood Side Bolts
Yep they are both different for sure. I went to the store and got a 7/16-20 and it went in properly on that one side.
The 3/8-24 worked on the other side. Thanks guys, trying to line up the front sheet-metal, shim etc to move this unit forward.
