Rad Mount Question

I have what looks like two sets of lower radiator mounts. A lower rear and an upper front on the same cross member. All riveted in as from the factory. Is that normal?

Re: Rad Mount Question

A picture would help, but yes there is an upper and lower mount for the radiator.

"So why two sets of rad mounts?"
JUST to f with your head LOL .... I would say someone changed the rad (and did a very nice rivet job) OR they screwed up at the plant when it was built

Re: Rad Mount Question

Yes, the larger saddles are for the v8. Have you looked underneath to verify they are all riveted in? Could have been added with carriage bolts by PO.

Odd though, never seen two sets mounted on one truck like that from the factory. Good thing is you have the saddles you want/need.
