Fabricating lip firewall welds to
I'm fabricating the lip that the inner cowl panel site on and where the top of firewall welds to. My question is the firewall supposed to be flush with the four bolts near the steering column. I'm just wondering how long I need to make the lip before it has the half inch 90° bend to weld to the firewall. Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

Re: Fabricating lip firewall welds to
I guess my question is the firewall supposed to sit all the way back on the 4 Master Cylinder bolts until it bottoms out on the bolt. This way I can know how long the lip needs to be where the 90 degree bend is that you spot weld to top of firewall since I'm reconstructing it. |
