I forgot to ask what auto trans is it for, 2 speed or 3 speed? And I didn't see the shift indicator housing, is that complete or missing. Most important question is the column in good working order or is it just for parts?

Re: Horn, Column, Wipers, Dash, Booster and more!

mjgord51, I am unsure what type of transmission was installed originally and the shift indicator housing is gone. These parts were on a '70 cab I bought at junkyard. The cab had already been removed and was by itself, so I don't know much about the truck it came off. I can't prove it, but I am assuming the column is in working condition. Besides the indicator missing, everything else was still installed and untampered--wiring harness, bolts, steering wheel, etc.

Are there any other indicators on the column I can look at to determine what type transmission it had?

empi1776, you should have received my Paypal invoice. I haven't heard anything. Let me know the plan soon or I would like to move on to the next buyer.

Thanks,
John

Check the build sheet in the glove box if there that will show trans type. Try going through the shift pattern from the column shifter and watch down at the shift tube assembly area (14) and watch the "shift lever" (16) in how it moves through its indexing movements or as it goes through the gears

Steering wheel sold to empi1776--I will ship it tomorrow.

mjgord51: The cab didn't have a glovebox door either. I will take a look at your other info. Sent you a PM too.

I'm interested in the horn hardware... Do you believe it would work with a '67-'68 steering wheel?
