90 suburban rear doors on a 77 crew cab?
Will it work? By the looks of things the doors are physically the same. It's just the guts that are different. Is that correct? So I can gut my 77 doors and put the innards in the 90 doors and be good to go?

I believe so. You will probably have to drill some holes to mount your door panels on the doors. I've asked others and this is pretty much what we came up with. I have a lot of 81 up rear doors and i thought about using them, but then I got a pair of near perfect rust free 76 doors.

They are a direct bolt on with no issues. There won't be any extra holes to drill putting them on a 77

Re: 90 suburban rear doors on a 77 crew cab?
Thanks! What about the window regulators? Lmc lists them as 81+. The 90 doors have power windows and I want to stick with the manual ones in the 77. Will the 77 regulators bolt up to the 90 doors?

77-91 should be the same shell...
Might be a regulator change (minor) in those years but nothing that would keep you from using the doors... |
