64 Light Green paint. Any rattle can that's close?

I've looked at Home Depot, Lowes & Wal-Mart with no luck. I'm surprised there's nothing even close anywhere.
I just want something fairly close so I can paint the bottom back of my cab and the bed headboard before I put it back together.

This is just a suggestion. I went to my local paint store with the formula/paint color, and had them make a pint, then put it into spray cans for mine when it was light Green. It was about $5 per spray can at the time plus the cost of mixing the paint. Worked great, as I painted my rims to match the body.

Check out Preval sprayers, can use what ever paint you want in them. we use them for touch ups on aircraft at work all the time.

I might have re-appropriated 1 or 2 for home use

Because your using a normal finish, the paint will still abide by the chemical makeup and drying times of normal auto paint. It won't "feel" like spraypaint coming out of the sprayer, nor will it flash dry the same. BUT if your using it for touchup and small parts matching, it will be fine. Just keep in mind that it still has the properties of regular auto paint.

It paints pretty much like a regular spray can.
I've used several types of paint in them cool part is you can mix up as little as you need.
Couple of times I've had to add a little extra thinner but that just depends on your paint.

Thanks. I've seen them around for quite a while but never used one. I guess the main thing was I was trying to avoid a trip to the auto body supply store.

I've seen them at all the Napa's, a few Farm-Fleet places, Amazon Prime! and others. They are REALLY common. Even Ace Hardware has them by me.

You pay a little more, but you'll be happier with the results. Light Green is paint code 503.http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spr...t_matched.aspx

Re: 64 Light Green paint. Any rattle can that's close?

Thanks. Lots of "purists" here I guess. The area between the rear cab and headboard on most pickups isn't usually even painted in most color changes because you can't even see it. I wasn't looking for Barrett-Jackson quality, just something close so I can get on with the build.
