Help with steering column ID
I have here a steering column that was taken from a 72 cab that I am trying to ID it. In pic #1 shows in park, pic#2 in reverse, pic #3 in neutral, pic#4 where you see a white circle is a # 3 stamped into the metal not sure what that means but that's the only markings on the Mast jacket, from pic #3 at the point the shift lever is in you would go into the forward gears high down to low or 3rd down to 1st ( turbo 350) or 2nd to 1st ( PG) but there is no indexing points like there is when in park, reverse, neutral. I don't know if there would be any or not that is my question for IDing the auto shift shaft. Thanks in advance, Marvin aka mjgord51
