Back from paint!

I just got it back from paint and will begin putting it all back together. I am in love with this truck, but will be soon heartbroken. I have to sell it when it is done because I am going out for back surgery. I will be laid up for 4-6 months and will need the cash. If anyone is interested in a 3/4 ton 4x4 with 65,000 original miles when I am finished I will post pictures and price.

It's a real beauty, You shouldn't have a problem selling it!

Sorry to hear about your back though. What are you having done to it?

I have to have 4 vertabraes fused together. I was going to add the white stripe, cab and moldings so it would look like this when completed. This is another board members truck.

Man, that does suck! I cracked three vertabrae trying to ride a mechanical bull about twenty years ago. My back's given me trouble ever since. Stay off of mecanical bulls! LOL

I'm sorry to hear that you're going to have to sell your truck. Maybe someone will buy it that you can buy it back from later. Kind of a loan of sorts.

Really nice 4x4.

Sorry about the bad luck. Did you hurt your back at work? Your truck will be killer when its finished. Are you going to put it on the board for sale?

As luck would have it I was born with a deformed vertabrae that has now slipped out of alignment with the rest and is pinching some nerves. It is floating so my back muscles are being strained to keep me upright. Thank goodness for disability insurance at work.

Yes I will post the truck for sale on the board first. I might as well give those who helped supply parts for it first dibbs.

I had a basketball coach that had a vertebra that got smashed in a football tackle (guy wrapped him around the 1st down marker) and he got surgery to fuse his vertebrae. I saw the x-ray and he had a plate and the plate was attached to each vertebrae above and below the injured one with nuts and bolts!! Crazy, but he can now play basketball without any pain! Changed his life...worth it as long as all goes well. Good luck!
