I'll finish with one more Blazer and a pic of my son with his dream car, a 69 Super Bee.

Re: Goodguys Heartland Nationals Truck Pics (This Will Be Pic Heavy)
Thanks! Great coverage. You all get a lot more 67-72s at the rod runs than we do around here

The last of Saturday coverage. I will end the day with a night pic of my Oldsmobile. (Not a very good one.)

Dig that 69/70 Green Panel truck. You sure do not see many of them in that condition.

Re: Goodguys Heartland Nationals Truck Pics (This Will Be Pic Heavy)
Last year a member from Mitchellville (I think?) had his orange '72 K20 with a 6BT Cummins there. Parked next to it was a '71-72 Corvette, also with a 6BT Cummins in it.
I sure wish I could have gone this weekend. I didn't remember that there were that many '67-72s last year. Thanks for all the pictures!

Both the k-20 Longhorn and the Corvette belong to board member "Dieselwrencher" he was trying to get the truck ready to bring to the show the last time I talked to him.... great guy & yes he is from Mitchellville. It didn't work out for me to make it to the show this year.... Bummer. LockDoc

It was another fun weekend but I'm dead tired. My son had a lot of fun and we talked to great people and looked at awesome cars and trucks. It was good talking to Shawn and Chad. I'm already ready for next year. I'll post Sunday truck pics later. Stay tuned.
