Recommend brake lines and shocks for 71 Chevy?
71 Chevy Deluxe, short/fleet, 1/2 ton, 2WD. Rear drums, front disc. ...Trying to stick to original as much as possible. What/where do you recommend for:
1. Brake lines and junctions. I'll restore what I've got, but a few items need to be replaced. 2. Emergency brake linkage. I'll restore what I've got, but a few items need to be replaced. 3. Shocks (so far no plans to lower). Thank you for any suggestions.

Re: Recommend brake lines and shocks for 71 Chevy?
I would go with Monroe Sensa-Trac Shocks. They are a good quality shock and not that expensive. I put a set on my last truck and was quite satisfied with the ride and handling. Another suggestion is if there isn't one on your truck add a front sway bar.

Re: Recommend brake lines and shocks for 71 Chevy?
Thank you. It does have a sway bar. Apparently that's post-production?
