Anyone get one of these yet? Wondering how convenient it is, and extra costs involved swapping body and trans/motor.

Is it wrong to drool a lil over that frame lol.The price on it isn't that bad vs all you get out of it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: New Roadster Shop Chassis FYI

I've been dying to see someone do a complete build with one of these. I have so many questions.

-It says will lay rocker on a 29" tall tire. I assume that legit means rocker rather than pinch. But does that mean 29" tall in the rear? If going 24's that would be a really small wheel width. They say can support 12" wides, but in a 24" wheel that would be 30+" tire. Also how deep can the dish be on a 12' wide wheel?

-How much cutting is needed? Assume tunneling the cab a bit for 1 piece drive shaft? Fire wall for 24's?, high hump, core support trim?, obviously bed mods.

I have seen a couple guys out there building in shops, but no one releasing specs on wheel size or the amount of cutting to other areas.

Re: New Roadster Shop Chassis FYI

I'm sure its worth the price considering, most of us modify front cross member and the rear cross member. if you add the fact that its a stronger chassis with a better breaking system, its really a no brainer, if you have the pesos.
