Adjusting steering stabilizer

How do you adjust the steering stabilizer on my 72 blazer. It was removed so the Tie rod tube could be replaced now I don't know where
the U jointed bracket mounts back up to the tube? Thanks Lewis

Re: Adjusting steering stabilizer

It needs to be centered so it will turn both ways. You can turn the wheel either direction and mount the stabilizer . If the stabilizer is gas filled it will extend fully out then turn wheels that direction and attach it there. Once attached check turning and make sure it turns fully both directions.
