Porterbuilt installed!
Finally got the porterbuilt front end and control arms installed on my 78 blazer. Looks like it time to start sanding the body and getting prepped for paint

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
I made a triangulated 4 link. For the lower bars I used the stock leaf spring hangers.

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
Looking to bag my k5 the right way and am curious what your total setup in the front ran you? Also, do you mind giving a detailed description of what all you bought to complete the job? Thanks and great work. It looks awesome!!

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
Pics of my build.. We had to do frame off due to the frame that mine had was not straight anymore so I found a new donor frame.. Ironically I found the one frame that was painted blue just like my truck.. lol

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
There is a company that just introduced a lowering kit specific to Blazers. It is in a recent issue of Street TrucksI myself here in Texas am having Chassisfab do the rear end with a two link set up and panhard bar. It will require no body mods and will lay pretty low. The front will be a Porterbuilt and with spindles for Wilwoods that complete kit will be right at 4200.

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
2 links are good but the are not ideal.. Make sure you have as long as a panhard as possible or go with a watts link otherwise you are going to get side to side movement when you go up and down.

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
Got it off the jack stands for the first time. This is a pic of it completely layed out on the frame. I wish I had the time and skill to do a body drop. This is as low as I can get it.

Re: Porterbuilt installed!
Are you laying frame? Hard to tell in the pic. How about a pic so we can see the whole truck? Thanks
