was this a good deal?

84 Silverado, 350 GM Goodwrench w/ 32k miles, 700r4 w/ 9k miles, Eaton posi w/ 4.56 gears 1 year old aporox. 5k miles, hardly any rust, Loooong bed, suspension lift of 6", 33" BFG Muds, rootbeer brown paint in decent shape,

2800$

Did I get a deal or did I get raped.

Thanks, let me know

I passed up a rusted 79 k30 for 1800 for this truck

Welcome to the board You got a hell of a deal there. As long as the engine, tranny, and everything they said was in there is then you made out like a bandit.

Sounds like a winner to me. You just missed out on all the fun of pulling a motor and putting on the lift.

Welcome to the board.

Thumbs up

Sounds like a good deal to me. I paid $2500 for a 78 C-10 Silverado SWB 454 almost 2 years ago, in fact a day before 9/11!

What region in California? Ever heard of Turlock? Put your finger in the dead center of CA and there is Turlock!

guess what I just found out, the gears in the front are 3.07 and the rears are 4.56

ouch, so much for 4x4

The deal is still in the mix so hopefully they fix it

I guess the kid that owned it before me didn't care about putting the gears in the front, He spent most of his money on the rear carrier, Eaton posi, and gears.

must of ran out of change..

If you have a front driveshaft in there TAKE IT OUT! and run with the hubs unlocked. You can ruin the drivetrain like that.
