Re: Gettin down n dirty
Thats only because you've never lowered a vehicle before. Do it once and you'll do it for life after you take the first corner and don't flip over and explode like on stock/lifted trucks

Re: Gettin down n dirty
I just bought a lowered truck but I wish it had been left stock height but it is growing on me .My others will remain stock height though I do like them all whether they are stock or lowered .The lowered ones do look a bit meaner .

Re: Gettin down n dirty
That's funny! I'm in a quandary here, because what you don't see in the picture is the 5.3L sitting on the stand, in the garage, awaiting the arrival of a BTR stg.1 cam(supposedly today), and other related parts. and the 4L60E to go with it. Not sure if the suspension will come first or the drivetrain swap. Been thinkin' about pulling the front clip to make the swap and do the front suspension all at the same time
Later... Lee |

Drop it now. You will love it . Make sure you have an anti sway bar. If not get one.
Not too many clean looking Squares like that in Ct. Good Luck More pictures of that truck would be nice too..I want a round eye so bad... |

Re: Gettin down n dirty
Lowering is like a drug.... 2.5/4 drop will satisfy you today, but soon enough you'll wish you had bought the stuff for it to sit just a little lower.... Well, its worked that way for me on every truck I've ever built at least.....
