Brake lines will not seal! Help!

I have a 66 SWB. For the life of me the right side rear line will not seal on the tee side. I have tried to realign the damn thing numerous times and it just wont seal.I have cranked down on it as much as I can. The only new part I have not installed is that damn tee. I ordered a new one but Summit sent me the wrong one, of course...Any suggestions?

You need to move a little metal.
I use a technique called 'lapping'!!
Tighten it, loosen a hair, tighten a bit more, loosen a hair again, tighten again. Repeat that about 6 times. You'll build a little heat into the sealing surface and minutely move a little metal and the surfaces will seal.
I do that on all new flare lines.
If that doesn't fix it, you might need to replace the tee.

Thanks for the advice. I took off the tee and used the one Summit sent me and luckily had an adapter that went from 3/16 to 7/16. so far no leaks to report. And had to use a couple clips to keep it from moveing in the rear dif mount. Now the bleeding begins, uggh! Thanks again

Ok, now I am going to try your method...I have discovered leaks all through out the system. I guess it just took some time to surface. I am going to get after it tomorrow, after work. Sounds like good advice to me, thanks!
