1964 c20
Second owner truck I found less than 2 blocks from my house. I'm bringing it home tomorrow. My wife is not as happy as I am, but she trusts my judgement. 292 and a 4 on the floor. Needs front fenders and front and rear glass. Runs and drives like a top. Original steering wheel and radio, sail panels, and a BBW. No rust on the cab or box that I could find. |

Re: 1964 c20
Nice find, very original, even down to the 17" rims. IMO, just buff out, maintain and preserve history!

Re: 1964 c20
Great score! That's a nice rig for sure. Seat fabric even looks to be in great shape.

Pictures are too big, I'll post smaller ones shortly.
But she is in the driveway, drove it home this morning. Last edited by Ronzo; 09-06-2015 at 01:55 PM. Reason: Pictures were too big. |

Re: 1964 c20
That's awesome. So much potential... or drive it as-is. Lots of fun either way.

Re: 1964 c20
Thanks guys, I am real happy to have got her home.
Found some documentation in that shows it got a rebuilt engine in 1980 at 56,418 miles. Jack and tools under the seat where they were from day one. I need a seat rebuild, but I am more than happy to find it and bring it home. Re: 1964 c20
The half ring for the horn is broken on the right side.
Can this be fixed somehow? Got insurance and registration, been driving her around town. Lots of thumbs up and questions from people. |

Re: 1964 c20
She's too nice to flip, which was the original plan. My 1960 cab is totally shot, so till I find a good cab, the 60 is going to the side. Knowing that it'll be a few years till I get to drive it, the 64 is going to be my occasional DD and Sunday cruiser. It needs brakes looked at, and the clutch adjusted, but it drives fine. A little pin came out of the bottom of the floor shifter on my way to a car show and I suddenly had a shifter in mid air. Pushed it back in and carried on. And I am going to take the hood and grille off for repairs, so I'll be using my 60 hood and grille in it for the time being.

Re: 1964 c20
What are you seeing that looks different? The outer ring? I'm not doubting you, I just could not tell much difference based on what I could see in the pics.

Re: 1964 c20
Went to buy the backup and tail lights, ended up buying the whole thing for $100.00. 1966 C10 frame and longbox. Came with a good front fender, and good inner fenders. After I paid him, he told me that he drove the 66 home after paying a case of beer and 3 lawn chairs. Last pic is his 60 with the 64 cab on it. He's doing body work on the 60 cab.
