New gal and her 1950 Suburban
Hi all
I'm new here but my Suburban's not. The car was built in Oregon by someone in this forum and sold to Germany. The guy who bought it never got to see the car as he passed before it reached him. Subsequently I then bought it and the Suburban now lives with me in Finland. It shares a garage with a few '34 Fords, a '35 Ford PU and a '55 Nomad. The car needs overall finishing and a new motor but the part that I'm finding most difficult to source at the moment is the rear door bottom striker plate. But that's worthy of a new thread in another section Anni |

Re: New gal and her 1950 Suburban
Thanks, I could do with some "sisu" (to those of you less familiar with Finnish "sisu" translates as perseverance, grit) although the Suburban is not too big of a project. Or that's how I feel about now anyway.. I've only had it for three weeks.
Here's a pic of our Fords. The Cabriolet is no longer with us. I figured if I sold one blue car I might as well buy a blue car to replace it. A person needs to have at least one blue car in her life |
