Tach dash wiring question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello. I need to know what guage wire goes from the tach to the coil and to the 12v+ side. Also what wire colors did the factory use in the tach wiring harness. Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm at work, so I don't have mine handy, but my suggestion is that you do yourself a favor and just buy the harness. LMC has them for about $20, and you can probably pick one up from every vendor on the board at least that cheap. A used one may even be floating around somewhere.
