Bought some steel braided brake lines ..
Bought some steel braided brake lines
any suggestions to what I should do first Any precautions that i should know about before I jump into it

Depending on where you got them from, make sure the actually work.
As for replacing them, just start unbolting them one at a time and replace them. Plan on bleeding the brakes IMMEDIATELY before driving.

all the bolts that hold the brake lines in are caked with crap, is there any kind of crap remover that would help loosen all the crap that built up on the brakes over time?

Being a 4x4, I would probably take it to a pressure washer and go to town. Especially if there is alot of crap on it. And if it is that bad, think about replacing some u-joints and seals.

I also want to get braided brake lines.
WHere did you get yours? Which lines did you get? The two front rubber ones plus the one rubber one in back? How much was it?

I got the brake lines from
4wheelparts.com It cost me 107 to my door. It aint cheap, but I'd rather be safe then sorry.
