1946 1 ton project
I've been looking for a '46 chevy pickup for my project rig and came across a great deal on a 1 ton with dualies. What is the differences between that truck and the 1/2 ton 1946 chevy? Are the bodies the same? I assume the bed is longer but I'm hoping the cab and fenders are the same.

The cabs are the same, but the fenders are quite a bit wider.
What kind of project did you have in mind? There are some neat possibilities for the big trucks.

Re: 1946 1 ton project
we just picked up a 1941 1.5 ton dually and the cabs are the same as well as the hood. but these fenders are wider and look good. were going to drop it on a 80`s 1 ton dually frame. if youre going with the original drivetrain and chasis and need parts, let me know as were going to part everything but the body

Re: 1946 1 ton project
I have a 39 1.5T that I picked up a couple years ago.
I thought about doing this. At least it fills up the fenders.
