A/C Air Conditioner Engine Bay Parts Interchange
So I just bought a 78 Blazer that had factory air conditioning. The only problem, someone tore the case out of the engine bay. I need to know what year I can pull donor parts from. 73-91? I see some things have a cut off year of 1980. Some things are 77-78 only. I'm coming from the 67-72 era trucks so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Im actually about to pull all the old stuff out of my 77 to install Vintage Air. The vacuum actuated doors especially trying to get defrost to work was not reliable.
Depending on how soon you are wanting to do this, you could probably buy my stuff. OR, I'd recommend the Vintage Air stuff. This will be my 3rd time using it, worked great in my 66 and 65 Novas |

I'm also pulling the original stuff out of my newly acquired '74 for a vintage air setup. It's not complete (missing at least the drier) but it's a good start, and seems like a waste for me to send off to the scrap yard. PM me if you are interested.
