longhorn low control arm question
I have a 71 longhorn 3/4 ton lower control arm the is missing the bump stop bracket on the driver side. I have a option to get a lower control from a 3/4 ton roller frame that still has the bump stop bracket and rubber.
are these lower control arms the same 3/4 ton longhorn vrs reg 3/4 ton truck? I am assuming they are but the frame is a 30 min drive away and I dont have pics of it to compare to two. the pic below is of the passenger side showing the bump stop bracket and rubber that I am talking about, I might be calling it the wrong name... |

Re: longhorn low control arm question
They might be the same as 1ton. The bump stops are different on drum and disc. That's what determines them.

Re: longhorn low control arm question
thanks for the reply. they look to be the same but the parts truck one was already welded in a attempt to strengthen it from a accident which I was not aware of. But the bump stop was still in good shape so I drilled out the spot welds and popped it off. I welding it on the one I plan to use
