frame id
I bought my 4x4 truck with a 2 wheel dr cab according to th vin tag. I would like to know what year my frame is. I can't find any numbers on it except on the very ft outside of frame behind the ft bumper holes. S-150. It has stock leaf spring mounts with zert fittings on them. Any help I can get would truly be appreciated. Thanks Bob

I had to replace the frame on my 72 and I believe the VIN was stamped on top of the left frame rail between the a-frame and cab.

LH frame rail by the steering box there is a partial VIN

Thanks for having me
the frame is much bigger then my 70 cst c20. I looked all over the frame Im in process of a complete build. I have the truck striped down to the frame. getting ready to sand blast then powder coating the frame. It would be nice to know year and what the frame came from. |

The VIN on the frame will tell you the year. The 6th digit will indicate the year.

There is also vin numbers between the dRiverside cab mounts on top of the frame rail
